My Story
It's so nice to meet you! I'm Joy and I'm a mother to five children ages 9-34. Yep you read that right! I have 10 year old twin boys and three grown daughters. I am also Marma (grandma) to Iona, Ember and Hattie and Ottilie!
I've been raising babies for most of my adult life and I've seen alot of changes. One thing that has stood strong is my passion for women's health. It seemed a natural path for me to becoma a doula to help women have the birth they desire and to help tired mama's in their postpartum. I am currently in school to get my nursing degree and become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and I work nights at our local hospital as a health unit coordinator in Labor and Delivery.
